Welcome all to the 2011 running of the Tour of Waikanae. This is a fun, inclusive cycle event catering to people of all abilities: recreational, social, families, and competitive riders. The event has 4 different distance road options (25km, 50km, 75km, 100km) over a flat 25km circuit that stays within the confines of Waikanae - on the beautiful Kapiti Coast.

This year incorporating 2 new relay events. One for School Teams and one for Open Teams of adults. Both relays are for teams of 4 riders - each riding 25km of the 100km relay distance. So get your friends and workmates together and put in a team.

Event Details

Where to Park
Off road parking will be available at the start/finish area. Please follow the directions of marshalls.

Event Briefing
At 8.45am all riders must attend the race safety briefing held as the start area on Park Avenue (COMPULSORY)

Race Start/Race Finish
9.00am all distances start on Park Avenue. At 1.00pm marshalls will be removed from the course. After this time competitors will be responsible for finding their own way back to the finish line.

Results and downloadable certificates will be available within 7 days of the event.

Major Spot Prizes
Will be drawn automatically at 1.00pm. You must be there to claim your prize. Any prizes not claimed will be re-drawn on the day.
